The US Army ARDEC, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ intends to acquire under the authority of 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source, a Low Rate Production effort for the XM93 WAM. This requirement is for a basic contract and three options with estimated quantities of 134, 285, 277 and 759 units respectively. This effort also includes approximately 156 XM98 Training Devices for the basic contract and 130 XM98 Training Devices and 92,430 XM98 assorted repair parts for the first option. The Government intends to award a contract for this requirement, pending sole source approval, to Textron Defense Systems Inc. located in Wilmington, MA. The effort is expected to be awarded in 1st Qtr FY96. See Numbered Note 22. (0242)
