Privott, 804/441-6560 Drydock Repairs to NOAA Ship RUDE to be performed at the contractor's facility. Performance period to commence approximately December 4, 1995 and shall be completed within 39 calendar days thereafter, January 12, 1996. Basic contract items will include Underwater Body & Boottop Painting; Rebuild Valves and Strainers, Service the Ship and Pilot House A/C compressors; Steam Pipe Repair in Galley Overhead; Anchors, Chain and Chain Lockers; Clean F.O. Tanks, Calibrate Gauges & MH Cover Repair; and others. In addition there will be five option items such as Potable Water Tanks & Motor Launch Compensating Tank Painting; Steel Repairs - Laundry Hatch Renewal and E.R. Bilge Sumps Mod.; and others. Vessel homeport is Norfolk, Va. Foreseeable costs will be added for evaluation purposes. Vessel will be available for inspection on October 20, 1995 in Newport, RI.
