Firms that recognize and can produce the required item(s) described above are encouraged to identify themselves to the Contracting Officer identified above and provide the necessary supporting documentation to the Contracting Officer in order to compete for the current or future solicitations. The time required for approval of new supplies, however, may be such that award and delivery may or may not be delayed pending approval of a new source. See Notes 22.
