954-7831 The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement
for 75 each of Integral System Monitor (ISM) +5 Volt Power Supply
Modification Kits. Kits are to be manufactured in accordance with
Purchase Description NASED-R-082 (7/7/95) which will be provided with
solicitation. Requirements include option provision for one additional
year period for a quantity of 111 kits. Proposed contract will include
FAR Clause 52.217-9, Option To Extend The Term Of The Contract. First
Article Testing (1 each) is a requirement. First Article must be
delivered within 8 weeks from date of contract award. Production
quantity must be delivered within 20 weeks from date of FAA approval of
first article. FOB shall be Destination. Standard Industrial
Classification (SIC) Code: 3699. The proposed contract is set aside
100% for small business. Opening/closing dates will be specified in the

disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short-term working
capital and bonding assistance for transportation-related contacts.
Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at
prime interest rates up to $500,000 per contract to provide accounts
receivable financing. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms
to apply for bid, performance and payment bonds up to $500,000 per
contract. DOT provides an 80 percent guaranty on the bond amount to a
