This requirement was previously synopsized 18 Aug 95 under stock class 99. Little Rock AFB requires a remote generator net controller to be used as backup power to base facilities directly supporting airfield operations. The field controller system must be able to monitor all generators from the remote main terminal for the following: coolant temperature, oil pressure, battery voltage, generator switch status, commercial voltage, and generator voltage. It must have the capability to start each generator be remote from the main terminal. All information must be able to be transmitted and received by a centrally located radio. The suggested manufacturer for the field controller and panel generators is Staefa Control System, San Diego, California, and distributed locally by Gorham/Schaffler, Inc., Memphis, Tennessee. The part number for the panel generators is GS-PANELGEN (Gorham/Schaffler, Inc.) and for the field controller the part number is 589-72000-03 (Gorham/Schaffler, Inc.). This is not a standard commercial off-the-shelf item. This is a firm fixed price contract. Only mail or facsimile requests for solicitation package will be accepted. No telephone requests.
