Simms, Phone (703)604-0903 Naval Air Systems Command intends to award a sole source contract to COMSAT Mobile Communications, 22300 Comsat Drive, Clarksburg, Maryland 20871 for the PEO(CU) Joint Warrior Interoperability Demonstration (JWID-95). PEO(CU) requires satellite communication services for video transmission among Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, Tomahawk missiles, and command ships using the VVDF system. COMSAT is the primary means of communication because of the unique antennas and receivers aboard Navy ships. No other satellite system is available to PEO(CU).
