The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, Point Mugu, CA intends to enter into negotiations with Nichols Research Corporation, 3883 Via Pescador, Suite D, Camarillo, CA 93010-5049, to increase the level of effort, to include Clause 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services, and to extend existing Contract N00123-93-D-0016. The current contract was awarded on 01 October 1992 under full and open, unrestricted competitive procedures. The Government anticipates extending the current contract six (6) months (from October 1995 through 31 March 1996) and estimates an increase of 20,000 hours. The extension is required to ensure continuity of mission essential engineering and technical support services until award of the five-year follow-on contract, which will be competed under full and open, unrestricted procedures.
