The Air Force Flight Test Center has a requirement for the fabrication of vacuum jacketed pipe spools for use in Liquid Hydrogen, Liquid Oxygen, and Liquid Nitrogen service for a test stand at OLAC Phillips Laboratory, Edwards AFB CA. The project requirements are approximately 1100 ft at 150 psi. The purchase will also include the fabrication/acquisition of cryogenic valves which need to be installed in the vacuum jacket line. All pipe spools shall be fabricated in accordance with ASME B31.3B standards. The pipe spools will be fabricated in accordance with isometric drawings, codes and specifications attached to the solicitation. All weld procedures shall be in accordance with ASME B&PV, Section IX by welders who are qualified in the methods and materials to be used. The contractor shall furnish valves, hubs, flanges, elbows, weld-o-lets as noted in the drawings. The contractor will be required to perform testing in accordance with ASNT, SNT-TC-1A. The pipe spools shall be gross cleaned in accordance with specifications attached to the solicitation. This requirement is 100% set aside for small businesses. SIC Code: 3498.
