This work includes provisions of necessary labor, supplies, materials, equipment, and supervision to install overhead doors and access to buildings 356 & 357. Doors shall be rolling steel doors, CLASS D 1 1/2 hour fire rating. Door shall be 12' x 12' motorized for installation of interior masonry wall. Curtains to be of interlocking galvanized steel slats, factory primed with end locks mounted on each end, slats to be 18 gauge. Hoods shall be 24 gauge galvanized steel to contain roller shaft. Doors shall be operated electrically by power operator mounted on right hand side of doors. Electric motor and warm reduction shall be separated units coupled together and do designed and constructed that in case of failure in the electrical system doors to be operable by means of auxiliary chain-gear operating mechanism. Power unit shall be self-locking and capable of holding the door curtains in any position in case of failure of the counter balancing spring. Motor units to be designed so that the motors can be completely removed without interfering with the operation of the doors by the auxiliary chain-gear operators and incidental related work at the Crane Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane, IN. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) for this project is 1751. The related Small Business size standard is 7.0 million. Completion time is 45 days after award. Estimated value is under $50,000.00.
