McDaniel, Contracting Officer The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division is seeking prospective source(s) of supply for a power conversion unit in accordance with the following specifications: Envelope Size (includes mounting): 128 cubic inches (8 x 4 x 4); Weight: 5.5 lbs; Environment: Naval Aircraft (tactical, rotary wing, or support) based on MIL-STD-810 (vibration, mechanical shock, humidity, salt fog, sand and dust, temperature/altitude, temperature, shock) and MIL-STD-461 aircraft carrier EMI; Electrical: Input- 3 phase, 115VAC/400Hz nominal MIL-STD-704E/Output - 28.25 +/- 0.50VDC with 9 to 50 amperes load - overload power reduction after 5 seconds - automatic smooth recovery from overloads including short circuits; Efficiency greater than 0.80, power factor greater than 0.85.
