A -- INTEGRATED MAINTENANCE DATA SYSTEM (IMDS) VENDORS' CONFERENCE POC Major Jim Cromer, ESC/AVR, 617-377-6140. The Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS) Program Office, Electronic Systems Center (ESC/AVR), announces a Vendors' Conference to be held on 18 and 19 October 1995, at the MITRE Corporation, Building S auditorium, 202 Burlington Road, Bedford, MA. The purpose of this conference is to present the results of the five conceptual study and demonstrations (Systems Research and Applications (SRA), Loral Federal Systems, The Analytical Science Corporation (TASC), TRW, and Computing Devices International (CDI)) described in CBD Synopsis Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) # AV95-01, published 31 January 1995 and amended 6 February 1995. In addition to presenting conceptual study results, the five contractors will be conducting their demonstrations throughout both days. Demonstrations of GDE Systems' Integrated Maintenance Information System (IMIS), the F-16 IMIS, and the IMDS Testbed will also be available. The Vendors' Conference will also provide the opportunity for industry to demonstrate their products. ESC/AVR requests contractors interested in demonstrating point-of-maintenance products, technologies, or maintenance application software related to the IMDS effort, submit a one page summary describing what they propose to demonstrate, and how, to ESC/AVR, 20 Schilling Circle, Bldg 1305, Hanscom AFB, MA 01731-2816, or fax to (617)377-6120, by 25 Sept 95. Product brochures may also be included. Due to space limitations, ESC/AVR expects to select approximately 15 for demonstration. Selected contractors will be notified no later than 2 Oct 95. The proposed conference agenda is as follows: a) Introduction/Review of IMDS schedule and program status, b) Summary of BAA efforts and goals of Demos/Studies, c) SRA's presentation, d) Loral's presentation, e) TASC's presentation, f) TRW's presentation, g) CDI's presentation, h) Attendee perspectives, and i) Wrap up/Questions. The conference will be held from 8:30am to 5:00pm both days. The demonstration area will remain open until 7:00pm on 18 Oct. The conference is open to all interested contractors and industry representatives. Due to space limitations, companies will be limited to two attendes each. Request those interested in attending the conference submit a written reservation request to ESC/AVR, 20 Schilling Circle, Bldg 1305, Hanscom AFB, MA 01731-2816, or Fax to (617)377-6120, no later than 11 Oct 95. A conference fee of $12.00 is required of all attendees, and must be paid in advance. Checks should be made payable to AV Recreation Fund, and mailed to ESC/AVR at the address above.
