Correction: This requirement is for engineering, technical, and management support services for software design, development and sustained life-cycle maintenance of Strategic communication systems Modems, associated systems, subsystems, and related support systems and equipment deployed in, or to be deployed operationally in strategic communications systems platforms including submarines, surface ships, aircraft, and associated support sites. The Modems are in various stages of acquisition and deployment, and are integral to major Very Low Frequency and Low Frequency (VLF/LF) strategic communication subsystems such as VERDIN Transmit and Receive Terminals, Enhanced VERDIN System (EVS) Transmit and Receive terminals, Submarine LF/VLF Receiver (SLVR), Navy EHF Communications Controller (NECC), Base Band Switch (BBS) Ship Automated Communications Control System (SACCS), Mission Computer System (MCS), Integrated VERDIN Transmit Terminal (IVTT), TACAMO Message Processing System (TMPS), MILSTAR Message Processing System (MMPS), TRIDENT Integrated Radio Room (IRR), NATO Interoperable Submarine Broadcast System (NISBS), the U.S. Air Force 616A transmit and receive terminal, the Miniature Receive Terminal (MRT) and the Advanced VLF/LF Receiver (AVR) are only some of the programs to be supported under this contract. Contract performance is a base period of one year with four one year options for a total of five years.
