The eighth Accessible Computer Technology Expo (ACT VIII) will be on October 18, 1995. ACT VIII is presented at the U. S. Department of Commerce with co-sponsorship by many Federal agencies. ACT VIII's goal is to promote awareness of accessible technology by demonstrating that individuals with disabilities can have equal access to the electronic office equipment essential in today's workplace and by showing that everyone can benefit from adaptive technology through universal design. We invite designers and/or manufacturers of accessible technology to participate in ACT VIII.
