F -- ALASKA NATURAL HISTORY ASSOCIATION PERMIT EXTENSION SOL OC-0017 POC Contact Point, Jeff Cobb, 907/257-2594, Contracting Officer, Jeff Cobb, 907/257-2594 Notice is hereby give that 30 days after this date, the National Park Service proposes to negotiate a concession permit extension with the Alaska Natural History Association to continue to provide convenience items for the public within the 15 national parks in Alaska for a period of one year from October 1, 1995 through September 30, 1996. This action is determined necessary and appropriate in order to provide continuity of operation and services to the public while new regulations are developed pertaining to historical rights and local preference for concessioners (ANILCA Section 1307, Revenue Producing Visitor Services). This proposed permit extension has been determined to be categorically excluded from the procedural provisions of the National Environmental Policy Act and no further environmental document will be prepared.
