Walther, (703) 875-1266 The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) intends to modify contract no. DHR-1008-C-00-0108-00 with Planning and Development Collaborative International (PADCO) for a 12-month contract extension through September 27, 1996. This contract provides services in shelter/urban services sector analysis, institutional development, technical assistance, training, and management support in housing and urban programs. This modification to the contract is being undertaken pursuant to the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1. This contract extension is being undertaken to maintain needed housing and urban program services during a transition period while the USAID Center for Environment is redesigning their project portfolio. This notice is being issued for informational purposes. A new competition is intended to be undertaken next fiscal year for multiple tasking contracts under a redesigned project portfolio for the USAID Center for Environment. A separate solicitation notice will be issued for this intended solicitation next fiscal year when the project redesign is completed. (0248)
