and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk Detachment, Washington intends to
issue a purchase order for 1 (one) network management console to hold
computer hardware. The console unit shall be a three-person, two
monitor level, horseshoe-shaped console. It must be 20 feet wide (plus
or minus three inches), 82 inches long (plus or minus three inches),
and have a counter height of 28 inches (plus or minus three inches).
The console must provide internal enclosure (not open shelving units)
for sixteen standard size (15 inch) computer monitors and associated
keyboards, have mounts for three ISDN telephones, internal cooling
fans, a 22-24 inch wide work surface, corner shelf units, tinted screen
windows, removable maintenance panels in the rear and open console
bases for cable runs. The work counter unit shall provide workspace for
two people and match the style of the console unit, it shall be 12.5
feet long (plus or minus three inches); it shall be fifty inches wide
(plus or minus three inches); it shall have a counter height of twenty
eight inches (plus or minus three inches). It must have at least three
holes in the counter top spaced two to three inches apart, with caps,
for future equipment cable drops. The equipment cabinets shall also
match the style of the console unit, have internal power strips,
standard nineteen inch equipment mount rails, two shelves, front tinted
plexiglass doors and rear access panels. Total cabinet length shall not
exceed twelve feet long, twenty four inches wide (plus or minus three
inches), and eighty-five inches (plus or minus three inches) tall.
Drawings of the required dimensions are available. The unit must
conform to these drawings. Installation and delivery will be provided
by the offeror. This is a small business set-aside. The SIC Code is
2522. It is our intent to issue a written solicitation. Response time
may be short (one day) 29 September 1995 is the anticipated award date.
A single award will be made for this requirement. Delivery will be
required no earlier than 01 March 1996 and no later than 31 May 1996 to
