Announcement (NRA) as specified in FAR 6.102(d)(2) and will be
released October 3, 1995. The National Aeronautics and Space
Administration is soliciting proposals that utilize new innovative
concepts and advanced technologies for the conceptual definition and
research investigation of science instruments, groups of instruments,
and complete integrated instrumentation packages suitable for
spacecraft that would fly within a few solar radii of the Sun's
surface. Participation in this program is open to all categories of
organizations including educational institutions, industry, nonprofit
institutions, NASA Centers, and other Government agencies. Notices of
intent to propose are due December 4, 1995, and proposals are due
