M -- OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE OF SPAIN BASE MAINTENANCE CONTRACT (MORON AND ZARAGOZA AIR BASES, SPAIN) Sol F61521-96-R-5000. Due 100395. The U.S. Air Force requires base operations, maintenance and management services at Moron Air Base (AB) and Zaragoza AB, Spain. The contractor will perform civil engineering; base services; transportation services, such as traffic management and motor vehicle management; base supply; transient aircraft maintenance and aerospace group equipment maintenance; fuels maintenance; postal service; and LAN management services. The security requirement for the offeror awarded the contract is Secret. A cost-plus award fee type contract is contemplated. Period of performance shall be for one (1) basic year with four (4) one year options. A 3 month phase-in is projected beginning 1 July 1996. The acquisition will be IAW streamline source selection (FAR 15.6) procedures. Projected issuance date for the request for proposal (RFP) is on or about 16 October 1995. Solicitation documents will be provided to offerors on 3.5'' 1.44 meg disk media in MicroSoft Word 6.0 format. A pre-proposal conference, site visit, and access to the technical library is tentatively scheduled for 6 - 9 November 1995, at Moron AB, Spain.
