Provide on site services in the field in Respiratory Therapist at the Federal Medical Center, Lexington, Kentucky. This is considered a contractual agreement and not a personnel appointment. The estimated issue date of this Request for Quotation is September 25, 1995. The contractor shall provide on a non-discriminatory basis, services to evaluate patients and provide recommended treatments including, but not limited to, oxygen therapy, pulmonary function testing, CPAP, induced sputums, arterial blood gases, as well as pentamidine, nebulizer and IPPB treatments. Provide preventative maintenance on IPPB equipment and respiratory therapy equipment. Provide patient education for asthmatic, COPD, and other respiratory patients. Services will consist of the following schedule: three sessions per week, a session being defined as four (4) hours in length. The anticipated period of performance is from date of award through September 30, 1996. All responsible offerors may submit an offeror which will be considered. This requirement is set aside for small business.
