HQ AMC/DOKR anticipates issuing an RFP on or about 18 October 1995 for air terminal and ground handling services at 17 locations in Central and South America. As a minimum the following locations will be included in the RFP: Buenos Aires, Argentina; Belize City, Belize; La Paz, Bolivia; Brasilia, Brazil; Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; Santiago, Chile; Bogota, Columbia; San Jose, Costa Rico; Quito, Ecuador; San Salvador, El Salvador (Comolapa and Illopango); Guatemala, Guatemala; Georgetown, Guyana; Tegucigalpa, Honduras; Lima, Peru; Asuncion, Paraguay; and Montevideo, Uruguay. Services include, but are not limited to facilities, personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other necessary items and services. At a minimum, the contractor will be required to provide ground handling and air terminal operations services. The period of performance is on or about 1 April 1996 through 30 September 1996 with up to three one-year option periods and a six month extension clause.
