Rudolph The purpose of this announcement is to solicit names of Prime Saudi Arabian Construction Firms, which are at least 90% owned by Saudi Nationals, and interested in submitting an offer on the following project. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, shall award a Firm Fixed Priced Construction Contract, for the construction of a Patrol Craft Fast (PCF) Training Facility in Ras al Gar, Saudi Arabia. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. PROJECT SCOPE: The construction of a classroom building, approximate size is 4800 square meters. The project work will consist of site development to include construction of engineered fill, extension of utilities, paving and landscaping. The building will be a single story steel frame with concrete masonry fill walls and steel roof supported by shallow spread footing foundations. Other building systems shall include a chilled water air-conditioning system, interior electrical distribution system and telephone system. The period of construction time is 420 days from time of Notice to Proceed. CONTRACT PROCEDURES: Both a price and technical proposal will be required. Bank Letter of Guaranty will be required. Contact award will be made on a firm fixed-price basis. Tentative date for issuance is 20 September 1995 with proposals due in late October with award in November.
