The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) has a requirement to procure additonal PHALANX Gun Control Units and Gun Conversion Kits for the PHALANX Close-In Weapon System. This requirement is for four (4) Gun Control Units and four (4) Gun Conversion Kits and will be added to the FY95 requirement being procured from Martin Marietta Armament Systems Department under Contract N00024-93-C-5402. Martin Marietta Armament Systems, Lakeside Avenue, Burlington, VT is the sole producer of this equipment and the only firm at the current time with the required design and production knowledge to fulfill this requirement.
