In support of the Information Sciences and Technology Branch, NASA/GSFC intends to enter into a sole source purchase order with Datron/Transco, Inc. (DTI) of Simi Valley, CA for the acquisition of a groundstation controller, software and cables, model 3300. Request for Quotation RFQ5-42693/985 will be issued as the vehicle to obtain the controller. This acquisition will be done pursuant to U.S.C. 2304(c)(1)--only one responsible source. The DTI antenna tracking software system is an upgrade to the existing HP1000 software system developed by Datron. These software packages are proprietary products developed by Datron.
