Basile, Contracting Officer Request for quote to provide three (3) months of maintenance and repair services for NAMRADS configuration at NTCC Pearl Harbor, HI. Configuation includes: AT&T 5420/2 keyboard display, (1 EA), AT&T 5310 log printer (1 EA), XMP 530 laser printer #1 (1 EA), XMP 530 laser printer #2 (2 EA), Norfin 60 bin towers (4 EA), MV4000 processor (1 EA), data general diskette drive (1 EA) and mini module disk drive (1 EA). On-call remedial maintenance services 24-hours a day, 7 days a week during the principal period maintenance (PPM) is required. PPM hours are in local time and consist of a continuous period of time as required by the site. During the PPM, the contractor's maintenance personnel shall arrive at the Government's installation site within the PPM response times after notification by the Government. Preventive maintenance shall be scheduled and performed during the PPM. On-call remedial maintenance service outside the principal period of maintenance (OPPM) is required. All OPPM response and repair times are in hours. Weekly OPPM shall apply to any period, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays and PPM. Other OPPM shall apply to any period on Saturday, and Federal holidays. Equipment repair shall be accomplished within the OPPM repair time after the contractor arrives on site. On-call remedial maintenance shall start when the Government notifies the contractor that the equipment is inoperative or thirty (30) minutes after the initial attempt to notify the contractor, whichever is sooner. The proprietary rights of the software/firmware requires Xerox to maintain the NAMRADS equipment. The contract will be awarded based on written quotations. The anticipated award date is 27 Sep 95. This action is a sole source procurement and Numbered Note 22 applies. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
