B -- PRODUCE VOLUME 2 OF NBS/NIST HISTORY SOL 52SBNB5C8835 POC Kathleen Lettofsky (301) 975-6342 The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to acquire the services of a contractor with at least a Master's Degree in one of the Physical Sciences to prepare a comprehensive text for Volume 2 of the history of the National Bureau of Standards from 1970 through 1988 in a manner complementing existing works. The contractor shall be a published author of scientific and technical work. The contractor will be expected to work on NIST site and adequate equipment and facilities will be provided by NIST. The contractor shall provide manuscript in both written and electronic form WordPerfoct 5.1 and ready for NIST editorial and policy review. Period of performance to consist of the Base Year and two option years. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered.
