CESARONE, (215)697-9655 It is the intent of the Government to acquire, on a sole source basis, licenses, upgrades and maintenance for Oracle software located at the Naval Education and Training Program Management Support Activity (NETPMSA) Pensacola, Pensacola, FL. The software licenses, upgrades and maintenance will be acquired through Oracle or its authorized dealer by placement of a sole source contract. Applications system software will be provided for the period 01 October 1995 through 30 September 1996. All quantities are one each unless stated otherwise. Tools & Database for DOS (82 ea),Developer 2000 (15), SQL*NET for DOS (15 ea), Tools for Windows (5 ea), RDBMS for DOS, Tools for DOS (13 ea), SQL*NET TCP/IP for Windows (45 ea), SQL*NET TCP/IP for DOS (7), Browser for Windows (38), Developer 2000 (12 ea), Forms for DOS (9 ea), Reportwriter (9 ea), Plus for DOS (9 ea), Server for Vines (2 ea), RDBMS for SCO UNIX (3 ea), Personal ORACLE7 RDBMS (80 ea), SQL*NET TCP/IP for Windows Ver. 2 (55 ea), CDE Tools for Windows (7 ea), Data Browser for Windows (5 ea), CPU:SCO 386, 8 users (2 ea), CPU: HP 9000/730, 16 users, CPU: HP 9000/730 1 user. In addition to the above, telephone technical assistance and on-site assistance is required for software problems for the period 01 October 1995 through 30 September 1996. The Government intends to issue a sole source contract to Oracle or its authorized dealer on an other than full and open competitive basis pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. The contract will cover a base year of 01 October 1995 through 30 September 1996 and contain provisions for three (3) one year option years. Oracle or its authorized dealer is the only responsible source who can provide the required software licenses. All responsible sources may submit concise documentation as to their ability to provide the required software licenses, as well as financial and technical information, which shall be considered by the FISC Detachment Philadelphia. If no affirmative written responses advantageous to the Navy are received within forty-five (45) calendar days after publication f this notice, a contract will be awarded Oracle or its authorized dealer. No contract award will be made on the basis of information received in response to this notice. The Navy will not pay for any information provided.
