This data system shall be on CD-ROM media form and operate on the Ungermann-Bass Broadband Local Area Network (LAN) currently utilized by the government. Zenith 248 computers shall serve as file servers. The data shall contain complete data base information for all national item identification numbers (NIINs), including Aviation Supply Office (ASO) NIINs; The system shall have updated Naval Supply 2002 data with the entire stock number utilized. Hitachi CD Rom players and interface cards for the system are owned by the government.
