The proposed action is for a nine-month extension to existing Contract DAAH01-95-C-A004. The contract type is Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee. The effort requires additional engineering and software analysis, development, and training support services for the U.S. Army Tactical Simulation (TACSIM) Project. Only the designer, developer of the software, and current contractor, MRJ, Inc., is capable of satisfying the agency requirements without unnecessary costs and schedule impacts. The proposed acquisition listed above is an extension of a sole source procurement to MRJ, Inc., 10455 White Granite Drive, Oakton, VA. See Numbered Notes 22 and 25. (0254)
