B -- CALIBRATION OF PTS FOR WINDOWS (WIN PTS) TEST SYSTEM SOL DTFA-02-95-R-50352 DUE 101895 POC Michele Mustin, Contract Specialist, (405) 954-7879 Calibration of PTS for Windows (Win PTS) Test System. The Federal Aviation Administration intends to conduct 5 separate studies determining the calibration of PTS for Windows (Win PTS) Test System. To determine the studies a total of up to 124 qualified human subjects must be furnished for not more than 40 hours each for the 5 study series to calibrate and evaluate the effects of software changes on the difficulty of computer-based air traffic control simulation scenarios. Subjects will perform the task at desktop computer workstation under normal office conditions. No prior knowledge of air traffic control or aviation is required to perform the task. The studies are defined in the Statement of Work, but inclusive of Study 1: Test prototype software; Study 2: Test software system; Study 3: Determine effects of single software programming change of task performance; Study 4: Determine effects of two software programming changes on task performance; and Study 5: Conduct software final acceptance testing. Pursuant to FAR 5.207, 5.202(a) and 17.207(c) (4), if the contract includes FAR Clause 52.217-8, Option to Extand Services (required in all annual recurring services contracts) and 52.217-9 Option to Extend the Term of the Contract, a Statement must be added identifying the contract as one containing these option clauses.
