The type of contract will be a firm fixed price indefinate quantity; min qty 250,000 EA, max qty 750,000 EA with a 20% option on max quantity and option to extend service for 6 months beyond initial contract. X-Ray inspection to be performed in accordance with Government defined scope of work. The contractor must develop a reliability program for achieve 1/1,000,000 reliability and shall measure the error rate and demonstrate the validity of errormeasurement. The contractors initial production line shall be facilitized within 16 weeks after award with a minimum of 5,000 Mo tors screened within 26 weeks after award, a ramp-up rate to reach aminimum capacity of 30,000 Motors/month shall be reached within 52 weeks after award and maintained through contract completion. The contractor must pass qualification (I.E. First article testing.). The contractor shall require certification of the acceptability as an in-spection facility for the MK66 rocket motor. The contractor shall be capable of storing up to 75,000 Motors at the contractor'S facility at any one time. The Motors/rockets after inspection will berepackaged in the same manner as they are delivered but shall bere-marked as necessary. Alternate inspection procedures will not beaccepted. A pre-bid conference will be Held at HQ, IOC Rock Island, IL 61299-6000 on 19 September 1995. There will be a non-refundablefee of $1,000 for the Solicitation set.
