DISESTABLISHMENT OF NAVY SHIPS PARTS CONTROL CENTER (SPCC), MECHANICSBURG, PA AND NAVAL AVIATION SUPPLY OFFICE (ASO), PHILADELPHIA, PA; AND ESTABLISHMENT OF NAVAL INVENTORY CONTROL POINT (NAVICP) MECHANICSBURG, PA AND PHILADELPHIA, PA On 01 October 1995 the Navy's two existing Inventory Control Points, the Navy Ships Parts Control Center, Mechanicsburg, PA and the Naval Aviation Supply Office, Philadelphia, PA will be combined by establishing a single command; Naval Inventory Control Point (NAVICP), operating from both the Mechanicsburg and Philadelphia sites. The Navy Ships Parts Control Center (NSPCC) will be called NAVICP Mechanicsburg and the Naval Aviation Supply Office will be called NAVICP Philadelphia. Both NAVICP Philadelphia and the NAVICP Mechanicsburg sites will retain their activity UICs as N00383 and N00104 respectively.
