Z -- REHABILITATE OF SANITARY SEWER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM SOL 263-95-P(BC)-0148 POC SHERI LAWSON, Contract Specialist, 301/402-3065 or EDWARD WILGUS, Contracting Officer, 301/402-3070. The Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, materials and equipment required to provide inspection and to rehabilitate the sanitary sewer distribution system at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), 9000 Rockville Pike, Bethesda, Maryland 20892. The Contractor shall rehabilitate the sanitary sytem. Repair includes, but not limited to: (a) Cleaning, hauling and disposal of debris; (b) visual inspection of the sanitary sewer pipe sections utilizing Closed Circuit Television (CCTV); (c) perform pin-point repairs of the sewer pipe sections as needed; (d) reconstruction of the sanitary sewer pipe lines by installation of resin-impregnated flexible tube which is inverted into the existing pipe by the use of hydrostatic water head cured-in-place pipe (CIPP); (3) visual inspection of the CIPP process to verify the proper application of the material by CCTV; (f) gravity pipe leakage testing and reinstatement of the service connections or opening of laterals; (g) restoration of site to its original conditions and (h) perform emergency services/repairs in accordance with the Specifications/Work Statement as listed in the solicitaiton. The contract shall be for a basic twelve month period with four option years.
