Additional potential sources of repair are being sought for the following items: NSN: 1560-01-113-9484WF, P/N: 5003132-09 (and 15 other very similar transparencies, NSN-P/Ns). Application: F-16 aircraft canopy system. The repair will consist of the following: Minor repairs of 20 hours or less. Completion of failure analysis reports. Preliminary inspection and rejection, removal of barrier coating and detail inspect for bolt hole cracks. There is only one known qualified source of repair, Texstar Inc, (CAGE 12849) Additional potential sources must be approved, by the system engineer, prior to be given consideration for contract award. Qualification Requirements are available and will be provided to interested companies. This is NOT a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an Invitation for Bids (IFB), we are only seeking companies who have the necessary capabilities and are interested in becoming additional approved potential sources of repair.
