This acquisition is for the establishment of a 3 year requirements type contract for US Government use with 2 one -year options for the world wide delivery and installation of Static Uninterruptable Power Supply (SUPS) systems, spares, kits, ancillary equipment, data and services to protect sensitive electronic equipment. The SUPS to be procured will range from 0.2-20 kVA single phase and 10-100 kVA three phase. For some installations, the contractor may be required to procure ancillary equipment such as environmental containers, switchgear, back-up generators, and all parts and materials required for installation and integration of commercial power, ancillary items and SUPS into the supported load. In addition, modifications of existing facilities may be required. A two-year parts and labor warranty will be required. Services will include site surveys, installation, integration, start-up, training, removal of existing equipment, world-wide preventative maintenance and emergency maintenance. This contract potentially could provide SUPS for numerous government agencies. The government desires to capitalize on the existing industrial base and to focus the bulk of this contract on existing commercial off-the-shelf equipment. The contracting effort will be conducted under the two-step method and will be a 100% Small Business (SB) Set-Aside. This acquisition is open to both manufacturers and integrators. Interested sources will receive a copy of the Statement of Objectives (SOO), the draft Performance Specification and a questionnaire for comments and suggestions. (Offerors will be required to formulate a Statement of Work (SOW) in accordance with the objectives set forth in the SOO and the Performance Specification).
