68 -- WATER TREATMENT CHEMICALS FOR HEATING SOL TFTC-90-NC-683B4 DUE 102795 POC Jacqueline crisp (206) 931-7886 CBD notice dated June 8, 1996 for multiple award schedule FSC 68, part V, sections B&C-water treatment chemicals for heating and cooling systems and boiler fuel oil additives and service is amended as follows: The 4th open Season Solicitation for FSC group 68, section B& C-watertreatment chemicals will be issued on or about September 28, 1995 to consider additional offers for the contract period of February 1, 1996 through January 31, 1997. Estimated dollar value: $200,000. Priced 13 zones FOB destination to include 4 special item Numbers. Fuel oil additives, boiler feed watertreatment, cooling water treatment and closed system treatment chemicals requires prices with and without service. Commercial price lists with substantial sales to the ccommercial Market place are required. NO specifications applicable. Commercial products only in accordance with FAR 15.804-3. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. Written requests are preferred. In order to meet the president'S challenge of bringing electronic Commerce into the present (GSA advantage), GSA will modify existing Mas contracts to include an additional 5 year option period (2/1/97 through 1/31/2002). This 5 year option will be exercised one time only. When the option to extend is exercised, all extended contracts will become indefinite-delivery-indefinite quantity contracts with a $100 guaranteed minimum with new price reduction and maximum order clauses. During this one time contract extension option period (effective 2/1/97), offers for identical items will also be considered. Offers received for identical products during any following open seasons will not be accepted and be automatically rejected. GSA intends on having annual open seasons during the 5 year option period. All contracts will expire 1/31/2002. NOTE: Incumbent contractors need not reply to this notice unless they wish to offer products under special item Numbers (SIN) which were not awardedoriginally.(0255)
