79 -- WAREWASHING COMPOUNDS & LAUNDRY DETERGENT SOL TFTC-90-MT-792A3 DUE 120595 POC Thomas Westerlund (206) 931-7937 In order to meet the president'S challenge of bringing electronic Commerce into the present (GSA advantage), GSA intends to M0dify existing Mas contracts to include an additional 5 year option period (4/1/96 through 3/31/2001). This 5 year option will be exercised one time only. When the option to extend the term of the contract is exercised all extended contracts will becomeindefinite-delivery-indefinite-quantity contracts with $100 guaranteed minimum, will incorporate a new price reduction and maximum order clause and will become industrial funded for the option period. This notice creates a new and additional open Season Solicitation, which will issue on or about October 20, 1995, for consideration of additional offers for standard Commercial items under FSC group 79, part II, section a-warewashingcompounds and laundry detergent (liquid and powdered with contractor supplied, installed and maintained accessory dispensing systems). FOB destination-48 contiguous States and the district of Columbia. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. Written requests are preferred. During this one time contract extension option period, offers for identical items will also be considered. Offers received for identical products during any following open seasons will not be accepted and be automatically rejected. GSA intends on having annual open seasons during the 5 year option period. All contracts will expire 3/31/2001. NOTE: Incumbent contractors need not reply to this notice unless they wish to offer products under special items Numbers (SIN) which were not awardedoriginally.
