C -- REPLACE FIRE ALARM SYSTEM Sol. RFP 574-59-95. Due 101595. Contact Bonnie Obermier, 308/389-5117, Contracting Officer, Grand Island, NE. A/E services for project 574-59-95, Replace Fire Alarm System, shall include, but not limited to site survey, design development, construction documents and construction period services. The contract may be awarded separately for Design Development and Construction Documents. Work will include but not limited to Replace the main fire alarm panel, manual pull stations, annunciating devices and smoke detectors; relocate the main panel from the hot environment of the sub-basement to a location more suitable for electrical equipment. Design shall be accomplished according to all NFPA, Federal, VA, State and Local requirements and codes. Firms applying for this work will be evaluated on expertise in the area of Replacement of Fire Alarm Systems design. Area of consideration is 400 mile radius from the VAMC. Estimated construction range is $100,000 to $250,000. A/E firms which meet the requirements described in this announcement are invited to submit Standard Form 254 and 255 for this project no later than October 15, 1995.
