Specialist LESLIE M. CONKLIN (503) 326-6418 (Site Code DACW57) Provide
supplemental repair and maintenance of large motors, rotating
exciters, pilot exciters, amplidynes and motor generator sets located
at Corps of Engineers sites in Oregon. The work to be performed
includes preparation of work proposals, factory maintenance service and
repairs, inspection and testing, and preparation of reports, graphs,
and drawings. The contractor must have an EXISTING repair facility
along with qualified technical personnel adequate to perform the exact
type and work requested. Contractor must have the facilities to load
and unload up to a maximum weight of 30,200 pounds and have facilities
to allow complete submersion of Government Furnished Equipment whose
maximum overall dimension is 15.1 square feet. This is a requirements
type contract with a performance period of one year with options to
extend the term of the contract up to two additional years. IFB
available on or about September 29, 1995 at no cost. Tentative bid
opening date is October 31, 1995. This procurement is open to both
large and small businesses. The small business size standard for this
procurement is a firm, including affiliates, with average annual sales
or receipts for the preceding three years not in excess of $5 million.
