The installation has a requirement for the performance of contingency base operations functions, when military units are deployed. The functions include transportation, supply and storage, and maintenance operations. At this time it is anticipated that the contingency requirements will include local purchase operations, 0730 to 1600 hours each workday; Class VII receipt,storage, and issue operations, including operation of Yard 26 open storage area, 0730 to 1600 each workday; Classification, Turn-in, and Shipping functions, including the operation of Yard 37 open storage area, 0730 to 1600 each workday; Ammunition Accounting and Storage Activity Operations, 0730 to 1600 hours each workday; Class II, III (POL), IV, and IX receipt, Class I Meals Ready to Eat Receipt, Storage, and Issue Activity; Weapons Receipt, Storage, and Issue Operations, 0730 to 1600 each workday; Receipt, Storage, and Issue of Military Maps, 0730 to 1600 each workday; POL Tank Farm Receipt, Storage, and Issue Operations, 0730 to 1600 hours each workday; Local Hauling of Equipment from the Central Receiving Point to the Direct Support Units, 0730 to 1600 hours each workday; On Post Convoy Clearance Operations, 0730 to 1600 hours each workday, and Alert and Service operations at the Robert Gray Airfield, which includes fueling of aircraft, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. One or more of these operations may be ongoing at any given time. The contractor must provide a project manager on site at Fort Hood within 24 hours of the requirement and the remainder of the staffing within 72 working hours. Anticipated issue date 1 October 1995 with an anticipated date for receipt of offers 1 November 1995.
