Managed Care Support Contract, Health Service Regions 2 & 5. The requirement is for a 7 month transition period with five one year options for health care delivery. Start-work date is scheduled for May 01, 1997. The contractor will be a firm fixed-price. Offeror will be required to develop region wide networks of health care providers. Area of coverage includes the states of Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia and Kentucky including the Fort Campbell catchment area of Tennessee and the Scott Air Force Base catchment area in Missouri, in Region 5 and Virginia (exclusive of the National Capital area) and North Carolina in Region 2. Formal source selection procedures will be used with competitive proposals. A pre-proposal conference will be held in the Denver, CO area prior to the solicitation closing.
