The fire systems work is divided into two types. Scheduled maintenance and inspection to the fire alarm and the fire suppression systems shall be under the firm-fixed price lump sum portion of the contract. Responding to service calls on the fire alarm and fire suppression systems to resolve system problems which cannot wait for the next regularly scheduled maintenance period shall be under the ''Indefinite Quantity'' portion of the contract. The Term of this contract is one base period plus two option years. This is a combination firm-fixed price lump sum and indefinite quantity contract.
