V -- BOAT RENTAL WITH OPERATOR POC CHRISTOPHER NIELSEN CONTRACT SPECIALIST (503) 326-6419 (Site Code DACW57) The Portland District is seeking two (2) 26 to 30 foot boats with operators capable of holding 4 people for work along the inland waters of Oregon and Southern Washington. Operators must possess U.S. Coast Guard Captains licenses to operate and maintain boats. Class A truck drivers license to trailer 30 foot boats would be helpful but not required. Boats must be powerful enough to withstand strong currents and windy conditions and equipped with radar, fathometer, radios, generator, lights, and winch to lift 125 lb weights in and out of the water. Boat must also provide cabin area for protection from weather and deck space for maneuvering equipment. Approximate performance period from October 15, 1995 to November 15, 1995 and March 15, 1996 to September 1, 1996.
