Work under this project consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, material and incidentals necessary for construction of stream bank prospective measures. Project to include the construction and installation of diversion jacks, retard jacks and excavation of pilot channel. The site is located six miles west and three miles south of Walters, Oklahoma in the SE/4 of Section 12, Township 3 South, Range 12 West, Cotton County, Oklahoma. Section 7(b) of the Public Law 93-638 (25 U.S.C. 450E) and CFR 14-1.354 requires that preference opportunities in employment and training be given to Indian/Aaskan individuals and that preferences in the award of subcontracts be given to Indian/Alaskan economic enterprises.
