This directorate intends to issue Invitation for Bid (IFB), F29650-95-B0032 on or about 20 Oct 95. Responses will be due approximately thirty (30) days thereafter. The anticipated project will be an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for the repair and replacement of water wells and pumps throughout Kirtland AFB with a one year basic performance period and two 1-year option periods. The proposed procurement listed herein is full and open competition, however, the Government reserve consider this acquisition for the 8(a) program based on responses to this synopsis. The magnitude of this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00 for the basic and two one-year option periods. Contractors must indicate their size qualifications under SIC 1781, size standard $7.0. The work effort includes the repair of existing water wells and the repair/replacement of pumps, the removal, disassembly, testing, and reinstallation of well line shafts of varying sizes, installation of new well line shafts of varying sizes, pump repair/replacement, column pipe installations, test pumping, videotaping, bailing, surging, and disinfecting of existing wells. Please note that funds for issuing delivery orders are not presently available for this project. No award will be made until funds are available. This IFB is based upon your understanding that (1) funds are not available and (2) if funds do not become available, no obligation will be incurred by the Government because of this IFB.
