SWIZEWSKI, (215)697-9577 The FISC Norfolk Det Philadelphia intends to acquire technical support for the pre-installation of Joint Military Command Information System (JMCIS) Data Processing Systems, fiber optic systems, and Wide Area networks (WAN) and Local Area Networks (LAN) aboard designated U.S. and Foreign ships and shore sites. Tasks include but are not limited to the following: a. Conduct pre-installation site surveys/ship checks and prepare reports detailing the findings for each individual survey; b. Provide installation support services as required; c. Install JMCIS data processing systems and associated peripherals; d. Install copper and fiber optic Local Area Networks and peripherals as required; e. Provide as installed installation drawings and reports of completion; f. Provide services to support the JMCIS Project Offices for pre-installation coordination, scheduling, and documentation. g. Operate a JMCIS Warehouse; h. Refurbish test, assemble, checkout and repair of JMCIS Data Processing Systems and Associated Equipment; I. Provide training for maintenance and operation of the JMCIS computer system; j. Provide integration services; k. Provide technical assistance in functional review services; l. Provide OEM Services. These services will be procured on a cost plus fixed fee, level of effort basis. These services will be required for a base year commencing in an approximate April 1996 timeframe, plus four one year option periods. The total number of labor hours required for the base period is 223,900. The applicable Standard Industrial Classification Number is 8711 with the applicable size standard being $20 Million. These services will be acquired through a competitive 8(a) set-aside. All responsible 8A sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the FISC Norfolk Det Philadelphia.
