The Marine Corps Systems Command intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Lockheed Martin Corporation (LMC), Syracuse, NY for the design, development, test, and manufacture of 100 AN/TPS-59 thermally bonded radar row feeds (part number 03538-7283300) in support of a Foreign Military Sales requirement for the Government of Egypt (GOE). The contract will contain options for specialized assembly, repair and maintenance training and possible additional row feed option quantities to support a potential smaller USMC requirement. The Government does not own the design drawings or technical data for this configuration change. The AN/TPS-59 thermally bonded radar row feed shall meet all the fit, function and performance parameter requirements of the previously available AN/TPS-59 radar row feed with minimal change in both form factor and existing technical documentation.
