Production qty range is 9,600 to 32,000 RTs, 6,000 to 20,000 AM.7239/VRC and 6,000 to 21,000 AM-7238/VRC. Requirement also included spares and associated ancillary equipment. The Government has not assumed configuration control of this equipment and competitive technical data package is not available. High volume production is required (1000+ radios/month) and delivery must begin within 14 months of contract award to meet SINCGARS fielding requirements. Acquisition to be a restricted competition between ITT Aerospace/Communications Div, Ft. Wayne, IN, and General Dynamics Land Systems Tallahassee Operations, Tallahassee, FL. IAW 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
