Keith (703) 305-7289 This synopsis is announcing a special open Season under multiple award Federal supply schedule 71, part III, section H, miscellaneous furniture-multi-purpose seating (beam and platform seating; common or loaner leg seating; multiple and multi-purpose seating; ergo and rotary chairs; stack chairs; dollies or trucks; bar stools). All contracts under this multiple award schedule Solicitation will include an option to extend the term of the contract. When the option to extend the term of the contract is exercised all extended contracts will become indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity contracts with 100 guaranteed minimum for the option period. When the option to extend is exercised all extended contracts will become industrial funded contracts for the option period. Complete flammability test results (CAL 117 or bifmaf-1-1978(Rev. A80) shall be submitted for all seating being offered. Complete performance test results (ANSI/BIFMA X 5.4-1983) shall be submitted for all multiple seating being offered under SIN'S 496-1a through 496-2. Complete performance test results (ANSI/BIFMA X5.1-1993) shall be submitted for allrotary, pedestal base chairs offered. Chairs offered under SIN 496-6 shall meet all of the requirements of GSA specification fnew 83-269E dated October 31,1989. Offerors who desire to be listed for CAL 133 for all SINS must submit test reports certifyingcompliance. Delivery-60 days ARO the contract period will be may 1,1996 thru April 30, 2001.
