Army Engineer District, Louisville, hereby gives notice of its intent to award a sole-source procurement to Designed Furniture Associates, Alexandria, VA, to inventory, disassemble, move, and reassemble Knoll/Westinghouse systems furniture. The furniture is currently located at the Defense Finance and Accounting Service office in Cameron Station, VA. Furniture is to be inventoried, marked for shipment to three locations: Omaha, NE; Lawton, OK, and Rock Island, IL. The required services will include inventory of existing systems furniture, design of new installation, identification and acquisition of necessary new Knoll/Westinghouse systems furniture items, disassembly of the property where necessary; padding, packing, and/or crating as may be required for transportation; pick up and loading of property at the present location; transportation to the destinations listed above; storage as necessary; delivery of property to the designated room and/or positioning at the new locations; reassembly of furniture items; incorporation of new Knoll/Westinghouse systems furniture items as necessary; removal of all packaging and crating materials from the premises and all other services which are normally included in a complete moving service. The services provided under this notice of intent must be provided by a factory-authorized Knoll/Westinghouse representative. Work under this notice of intent must be completed on or before November 30, 1995. The systems furniture will be made available to the contractor after October 1, 1995.
