Department of Commerce's National Technical Information Service (NTIS) has a requirement to provide comprehensive, ongoing support and system integration for NTIS' Order Processing/Accounting System. This is a proprietary system called CIS.PUB,developed by Computing Information Services, Inc. CIS.PUB has been extensively modified by the vendor to meet NTIS' needs. The system was customed developed and provided to NTIS under prior contracts. The software is proprietary product of CIS and CIS isthe sole owner of the source code. The period of performance will be for a base year with one option year. This notice ofintent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties are invited to identify their interest and capability torespond to this requirement by submitting supportive documentation. This documentation must clearly demonstrate the ability to provide the required license and support described herein as well as other information and data sufficient for their ability to satisfy this requirement. If no affirmative written documentation is received within 15 calendar days after publication of this synopsis to the effect that a compatible source is more advantageous to the Government, the government will award a contract to Computing Information Services, Inc. of Phoenix, AZ.
